Generac’s HomeLink™ Upgradeable Transfer Switch goes beyond what other manual transfer switches can do. It makes upgrading from a portable generator to automatic standby power simple and affordable.
HomeLink™ is a pre-wired electrical device that’s installed next to your home’s circuit panel. During an outage, it delivers power to hard-wired appliances (such as furnace, well pump and lights) with the push of a button, safely and easily – eliminating the need for multiple extension cords.
When you’re ready to install an automatic home standby generator, a certified electrician will change out the panel located in the HomeLink™ with an automatic switch upgrade panel and new faceplate – and it’s ready to be connected to a home standby generator.
A Generac home standby generator automatically backs up essential circuits with this pre-wired transfer switch. It comes standard with 8 circuits, expandable to 10 circuits.

Generac 6854
I had it installed a week ago, tested and ready to go for next power outage! While manufacturer delayed on delivery, I do not hold NationWideGenerators on account of that. What I will say is how quick NWG is to answer the phone and give as much details as possible to the customer. This was huge! Thanks guys for walking me through Generac delivery process! The panel was in superb state, no defects. We did call Generac support to identify a none connected orange cable, near switch in panel, but found out it just needs to be tucked away as it is for future auto switch upgrade expansion. It certainly is a great feeling knowing if power goes out, all i need is the generator and my 30 amp cable to the house to keep furnace going and other small things during winter. Thank you sirs! - Brian

Nice package, in process of install. Would have been beneficial to be able to select the amperage of the eight breakers .
